Investment Opportunities

Since January 2000, SKC has maintained that the key to success during this post-2000 period will have resulted from the realization that dominance has been making a massive historic shift from West to East.

From an investment point of view, such knowledge needs to be followed up by those strategies that efficiently and profitably reflect this expanded investor understanding. To these ends, SKC has only advised Japanese equities that qualify within a certain custom made “theme”, since the first quarter of 2000.

As of January 2002, SKC has maintained that a dramatic bear market has begun in the US Dollar, shifting particular foreign currency preferences, as needed. Simultaneously, SKC turned bullish on gold, looking for a move from $285 to $500, as an initial major cycle stop for the metal (please note the Feb. 12, 2003 Special Report in the previous comments section).

The Globe and Mail and Barron's articles here linked, offer a brief summary into both the micro and macro opportunities and conditions in Japan.
